Current Status of ISS Radios Updated

​Columbus Module radios:

  • IORS (Kenwood D710GA) – STATUS – Configured. 
    Current mode set to cross band repeater (145.990 MHz up {PL 67} & 437.800 MHz down).  Next mode change to support packet operation (145.825 MHz up & down) is currently TBD.​​​
    • Radio to be powered off on March 1 to support an ESA experiment. Radio OFF about 14:30 UTC. Radio ON about 15:00 UTC.
    • Radio to be powered OFF to support US EVA on March 15.
    • Radio to be powered OFF to support US EVA on March 23.
    • Supporting USOS scheduled voice contacts, packet and voice repeater ops.

Service Module radios:

  • Kenwood D710E – STATUS – Radio usually off.​ ​​ ​​​
    • Radio to be powered OFF to support US EVA on March 15.
    • Radio to be powered OFF to support US EVA on March 23.
    • Supporting ROS scheduled voice contacts and SSTV.
    • Kenwood D710GA for SM delivered on 80P. Installation TBD in Increment 67.
